Harold Tvedten was a professor of pathology at Michigan State University. He retired in 2000 after 26 years of service and moved to Uppsala Sweden. He currently works part-time in the Clinical Chemistry Unit at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala Sweden and at the laboratory at the Strömsholm Animal Referral Hospital in Kolbäck Sweden. He is president of the American Society for Clinical Pathology in 2004.
