Main thesis of written article is inspired by phenomenon of Islamic terrorism, not only in religious sense but in wider contexts: also cultural and political and connected with mass communication. The author discusses the complexity of this what is pointed inside the title as a faith and terrorism, but founded at the notion of catholic discourse, dedicated to numerous articles published in “Tygodnik Powszechny” weekly magazine. The author shows the difference between particular newspaper and the rest which represents popular “mass discourse”. Doing this describes not only selected topics but what more theories, ideas and strategies served people to think over the war on terror.
