Elżbieta Dutka, “The space of co-creation” – about photography in Andrzej Stasiuk’s writings

Summary:
This article is an attempt to analyze an issue of meaning of photography in Andrzej Stasiuk’s writings. The author of this work pays attention to photographs published in books (“para-textual ready makes” – e.g. pictures and portraits on covers) and analyses photographs described in those texts (which exist only in narration). The last part of article presents the special characters of Andrzej Stasiuk’s prose which are close connected with the photographical view of the world (e.g. gathering of pictures, putting reality in a frame).
