It is a unique community, based on marriage between man and a woman, not giving to replace any other interpersonal compounds. A man comes into the world in it. It is the most important space of the development of humanity. Family members are the foundation of socialization of the human person. Healthy family is the foundation of a safe society. In view of the many familiological dilemmas emerging at the interface between theory and practice, which relate to the defense and promotion of family values, strengthening national identity, patriotic education and creating a safe society there is a need for a deeper reflection and interdisciplinary discussion. XVIII Interdisciplinary Days are planned as a forum for discussion on family, nation and security. To participate in the discussion we invite specialists presenting the issue of family, nation and security in several perspectives: historical, legal, social, political science and theological. The questions initiating discussions: - What is the ethos of the family? What is its determines? What is the hierarchy of pro-family values? - What is the role of the family in building of the national identity? - What is the role of massmedia in building of the national identity? - What is specific activity of Church involved in the pro-familial and pro-defensive aspects? - What is the role of the state, local governments, institutions and state organizations and NGOs in the implementation of the pro-family and patriotic objectives? - What is the image of the family and the nation in contents of the education on all levels of the education? - How is and should be the pro-familial and pro-defensive policy of the state? - What are the models of patriotic education? In XVIII Interdisciplinary Days is planned the international symposium „Family – Nation – Security in the sources and researches”. Lecturers will present the state of research in reference to discussed matters. Like this participants of the Days will be introduced to the active participation in the scientific seminar intended on the discussion interdisciplinary, targeting the elaboration of new directions and perspectives exploratory and praxeological. A theme of the interdisciplinary scientific seminar is: „Family – Nation – Security reality and practical possibilities”. The meeting is going to be a forum for young and experienced explorers, which lead the scientific researches about a family, nation and security, and would like to show conclusions of their own researches, which first of all touch dilemmas about the correlation of the theory and the practice.
