On May 14, 2025, the third edition of the Competition took place, with more than 120 students participating.

The winners were selected during the second stage, in which the finalists answered oral questions before the Competition Committee, composed of:

The final ranking of the laureates is as follows:

1st place: Wiktoria Wojtyniak,
2nd place: Małgorzata Borawska,
3rd place: Wiktoria Styczeń.

We sincerely congratulate the laureates, finalists, and all participants of the Competition — participation and commitment alone are already a reason to be proud.

It is worth emphasizing that the finalists demonstrated impressive knowledge and a very high substantive level in their answers.

We are convinced that the 3rd edition of the Knowledge Competition in Suicidology named after Prof. Brunon Hołyst marks an important step in popularizing knowledge in the field of suicidology, supporting students’ academic development, and integrating and activating the academic community.

The event was given special significance by the presence of the Competition’s patron, Prof. Brunon Hołyst, who delivered a lecture titled “Suicide as a Social Problem.”

We hope to meet again at the next edition of the Competition next year.
