Dr hab. Piotr Chlebowicz, prof. UWM, from the Department of Criminology and Criminalistics at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, participated as a reviewer in doctoral proceedings conducted at Vilnius University.

The proceedings concerned the doctoral dissertation by Gediminas Šataitis entitled “Control and the Limits of Autonomy in Contemporary Philosophy of Criminal Law”, which addresses issues of control and the limits of autonomy in contemporary philosophy of criminal law.

The public defence took place on 18 September 2026 in Vilnius.

The participation of our Faculty’s academic staff in doctoral proceedings conducted by foreign universities is an important element of the internationalisation of research activities at the Faculty of Law and Administration, UWM, and contributes to the development of cooperation with academic institutions abroad.
