The dictionary was compiled by three linguists from the Institute of Polish Studies and Logopaedics at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Additionally, Katarzyna Witkowska, a PhD student in the Institute of Polish Studies and Logopaedics, participated in the project at the stage of inserting the linguistic data to the program. The Werbosław program was made by Piotr Sikora.
The work on the dictionary was carried out within the research project „Paradigmatic Description of Polish Verbal Multi-Word Units. Electronic Dictionary” financed by the National Science Centre in 2014-2018 (the project: 2013/09/B/HS2/01222). The dictionary provides grammatical forms of over 5,000 verbal multi-word units with additional notes on their meaning, aspectual counterparts and various constraints regarding the use of the analyzed units. The dictionary is available as two files: the Werbosław program (for both 32bit and 64bit Windows) and the linguistic data of the dictionary (VERBEL). Subsequent development of the dictionary is planned.
