The Department of Medical Biology conducts classes in subjects such as: "Molecular Biology and Genetics" as well as "Medical Parasitology" for Polish- and English-speaking students of Medicine;  "Parasitology" and "Genetics" courses for students of Nursing and Nutrition; and "Biology and Microbiology" for students of the Emergency Medical Services. The department has two fully equipped microscopy rooms, capable of accomodating independent student projects using biological stereotactic microscopes.

The Departnent of Medical Biology cooperates with famous scientific units in Poland.: The institute of Parasitology of Polish Science Academy in Warsaw; The Departement of Biology and Parasitology of the Medical Uniwersity in Lublin; The Gdansk Uniwersity; East-Baltic Technical Uniwersity in Szczecin; The Wrocław Uniwersity.  We also got partners on the world: Department of Dermatology and Allergy, Technical University, Munich, Germany; supervisor - W.
