A brief report on the 14th International Congress “Criminalistics and Forensic Expertology: Science, Studies, Practice”
On 13-15 September 2018 in Odesa (Ukraine) National University «Odessa Law Academy» held 14 International Congress «Criminalistics and forensic expertology: science, studies, practice» under the patronage of the Lithuanian Criminalistic Association, International Non-Governmental Organization «Criminalists Congress», Mykolas Romeris University and National University «Odessa Law Academy». Criminalists and forensic experts from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, USA were participants of the Congress. PhD, professor Jaroslaw Moszczynski and PhD, professor Ireneusz Soltyszewski took part in the event. PhD, professor Moszczynski presented the problem of individual identification, which is a true challenge for modern forensic science. PhD, professor Ireneusz Soltyszewski in cooperation with PhD Alicja Tomaszewska talked about the GeNN Innovative Project in the context of search and identification of missing persons.
