Information about processing the personal data

Under Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of (EU) 2016/679, 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the dree movement of such data, and repealing the Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (EU Journal of Laws L 119, 4 May 2016), hereinafter referred as “the Regulation”, it is hereby announced that:

 

1)      the administrator of the personal data is the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Michała Oczapowskiego 2 Street, 10-719 Olsztyn;

2)      the personal data will be processed under the Article 6(1)(a, b) of the Regulation for the purposes of: registration of participation in the 1st International Conference on Water Management and its Surroundings – Theoretical and Practical Aspects, contacting participants of the conference, preparing a list of participants and presentations, granting certificated of participation, documenting events during the conference, under the Article 5 of the Regulation;

3)      recipients of the personal data are people engaged in organisation or service of the Conference, as well as subjects authorized by law;

4)      the personal data will be stored for a period of processing and storing the financial and accounting documentation of the Conference by the University, as well as the period necessary to determine and pursue any potential claims and the limitation period prescribed by law;

5)      providing the personal data is voluntary, however, refusal to provide them can effect in an inability to participate in the Conference;

6)      in connection with the processing the participants are entitled to access the personal data, correct or transfer them, obtain a copy, delimit their processing, except cases mentioned in the Article 18(2) of the Resolution, as well as to object against their processing and to make a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office;

7)      permission to process the personal data can be withdrawn at any moment, yet not affecting the previous processing of the data conducted under the law;

8)      the personal data will not be processed in an automated way, including profiling, and will not be conveyed to the third country or an international organisation;

9)      to document the Conference, photographs will be taken, which afterwards will be published on the websites belonging to the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
