Scientific activity of The Institute of Fine Arts
The Institute of Fine Arts conducts research activity regarding the following topic:
Fine arts in promotion of the Warmia and Mazury region.
The scientific achievements of the staff of the Institute of Fine Arts include the following forms of activity:
- Publications in scientific journals
- Participation in local, nationwide and international conferences
- functions of promoters and reviewers in the doctoral and higher doctoral dissertations
- Issuing and developing catalogues, individual and collective albums of works of the Institute of Fine Arts staff members
In the framework of statutory research, common art actions were organised in connection with exhibitions of works in Offenburg (Germany) and Olsztyn (involving the participation of staff and students from Offenburg).
With organisational and financial support of the authorities of the city and the UWM, a trip to Perugia (Italy) was organised in connection with a scientific tour through the main Italian cities. A large exhibition of the teachers from the Institute of Fine Arts was organized in Perugia (along with the publication of the catalogue „Segni nell'Arte, Znaki w sztuce").
