Artistic activity of The Institute of Fine Arts

The activity of the Institute of Fine Arts consists of the achievements of full-time employees and students.

Staff members representing such artistic disciplines as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, graphic design, photography, film, animated film, tapestry, painting on silk, present their work in individual exhibitions as well as in national and foreign collective exhibitions.
One of the forms of presentation of the artistic achievements of the Institute of Fine Arts consists in organising common exhibitions of all employees, where the variety of achievements in all areas of visual arts is most fully displayed.

Artists take part in exhibitions and competitions organised by various institutions in Olsztyn and in response to numerous initiatives to coming from all over Poland.

The employees are winners of awards and commendations in different competitions, exhibitions and biennales held in Poland and abroad.

Also the students present their achievements, individually and collectively, in groups of the same year of studies or studios at exhibitions at the University of Warmia and Mazury, in the territory of the city of Olsztyn and the Warmia and Mazury voivodeship.

Appropriately qualified staff, particularly the independent workers, plays a very important role in overall artistic activity. Their high competences guide the activity of younger employees, contributing to their artistic development and making them gain subsequent scientific degrees.
