Marek Zagroba

dr Marek Zagroba, PhD, Eng, Arch

Marek Zagroba is an Architect and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Geoengineering the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences with a specialization in Architecture and Urban Planning. He is an author of numerous scientific publications in the field of revitalization of historic centres in small towns, urban studies and architecture. He is an author of numerous architectural designs of residential, public and school buildings. He is a member of the Association of Polish Architects.

Functions:

  • member of the Commission for Architecture and Spatial Development at UWM in Olsztyn - since 2013

Field, discipline, scientific specialization: social sciences, socio-economic geography and spatial management, revitalization.

Research topics:

  • revitalization of old town complexes,
  • revalorization of architectural objects.

Didactics: architecture, conservation and revalorization of architecture, technical drawing, small architecture and garden structures, basics of construction.
