Rafał Kaźmierczak

dr Rafał Kaźmierczak, PhD

Ph.D. Rafał Kaźmierczak has been an employee of the University of Warmia and Mazury since 2010. He started his work as a technologist and then as an IT specialist. In 2015 he received the Team Award (II degree) from the Rector of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn for special achievements in his professional work. Since 2017 he has been a research worker at the Faculty of Geoengineering. In his work to date, he has participated in many studies on GNSS applications. This work included issues concerning, among others: satellite measurement techniques, integration of satellite methods and GIS systems, bathymetric measurements, modeling of spatial data, and their processing and visualization. Currently, the main area of interest is interdisciplinary research on augmented and virtual reality. The most important achievements include the award for taking third place in the competition for the Best Diploma Work organized by the Main Board of the Association of Polish Surveyors and the Ministry of National Education as well as the management and implementation of projects from the European Space Agency.
