This goes in line with the election that Dr. hab. Paweł Wysocki, prof. UWM, remained in the position of vice-rector for education. There was also no change in the position of vice-rector for student affairs. This function will continue to be held by Dr. hab. Sławomir Przybyliński, prof. UWM. On the other hand, Dr. hab. Mirosław Gornowicz, prof. UWM, the previous vice-rector for development and financial policy, parted ways with the Council of Rectors. Dr. hab. Mariola Grzybowska-Brzezińska, prof. UWM, became the new vice-rector for human resources and financial policy. In turn, Prof. Jakub Sawicki, the new vice-rector for science and international cooperation, replaced Prof. Jerzy Jaroszewski, who held the position of vice-rector for scientific policy and research. There was also a change in the position of vice-rector for Collegium Medicum. Prof. Sergiusz Nawrocki was replaced by Dr. hab. n. med. Magdalena Krajewska-Włodarczyk.
