Prof. Sabina Źróbek

The professor in the field of geodesy and cartography, speciality – spatial planning and real estate management at the Faculty of Geoengineering at University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland.

Functions:

• She is the chair of the Department of Spatial Analysis and Real Estate Market,
• the Head of Postgraduate Studies in Real Estate Valuation,
• the President of the Real Estate Scientific Society,
• the Editor in Chief of the journal „Real Estate Management and Valuation”,
• member of the Scientific Council of the journal „Geodesy" of the AGH,
• the Editorial Board of „Baltic Journal of Real Estate Economics and Construction Management”,
• the International Editorial Board of the „Valuation Journal” issued by Romanian ANEVAR Research Institute,
• member of International Advisory Board of Latvia University,
• She was a member of the Committee on Geodesy of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
• For many years she has been serving as a delegate of the Association of Polish Surveyors in the Commission 9 of FIG. 
• certified property valuer
• involved in the work of the State Qualification Commission for granting these certificates and the member of The State Council of Standards.

Didactic and scientific interests are focused on:

• real estate valuation methodology,
• market analysis and optimization of the land use and sustainable development of areas.

She has published over a dozen textbooks and over 240 original papers on real estate management, property valuation and real estate market in Polish and international scientific journal.

She is a lecturer at courses and workshops organized for property valuers, author and co-author of many opinions and appraisal reports commissioned by courts, public institutions and private clients.
